TOKYO AUTOSALON 2014. Part 2

This post I will focus on 1 manufacturer, NISSAN, due to the sheer number of cars they had on display this year.


But before that, here is a video montage I put together of the more unusual cars on display at Auto Salon 2014:

NISSAN.

Always with a strong presence at Auto Salon, this year was no exception with a very large portion of the cars on display being the current R35 GTR. There were also a few old school Skylines on display also, some restored with slight modifications, and some very extreme customs.

TOKYO AUTOSALON 2014. Part 1.

Happy New year!

SO, once again I went to the Tokyo Autosalon, and this year was the best one I have been to yet!!

The last couple of years the amount of 'Tuning cars' has been rather low, with most of the displays and trader being more van, truck, or luxury car focused and to be honest was rather disappointing.

This year however saw a return to the Autosalon of old, with many displays by Tuning shops, Drift teams, and Tuning Car parts manufacturers. Added to this, a substantial increase in the size of the event, with an extra section of the Makuhari Messe complex being used for the first time to accommodate the extra displays.
The event was definitely dominated by NISSAN GTRs with many on display. Toyota 86's were also very abundant, followed by Subaru WRXs, RX7's, and Mitsubishi Evo's.
