My old Evo III


This was my first Lancer Evolution after many years of Starion ownership and racing. It served me very well in many forms of Motorsports ranging from Tarmac Rally to Street Sprints, Gymkana and Circuit Sprints. It never missed a beat and almost always finished on or close to the podium. Including 2 years in succession Class wins at Rally QLD Coastal Challenge, and the Gatton Street Sprints (finishing in the top 10 overall Shootout out of 130 competitors).
An awesome car to drive and accelerated like a missile, but could be scary as hell at times as well. It was a great little car that excelled in all kinds of Motor Sports.
The only reason I sold it was because I was moving to Japan permanently.  I really miss this car.

Fitted with Ralliart LSDs and an RS close ratio gearbox.
Turbo was high-flowed.

Pajero Oil cooler.
Short throw gearshift.
etc.

Power was 295hp and 355ft lbs at the wheels.
I never once had the valve cover or sump off of it.

これは私の最初のランサーエボリューションでした。この車はターマックラリーからストリートスプリント、Gymkanaとサーキットスプリントまでモータースポーツの多くの形態で非常によく私を務めた。ほとんどの場合に優勝したか表彰台に近いでした。
クラスでの2年間を含めるターマックラリーと’ガットオンストリートスプリント’(130競争者のうちトップ10全体のシュートでフィニッシュ)優勝。この車を手放した事が今でも名残り惜しい。

I have had this my second Evo since November 2009, and the 'theme' of this car is Maximum gains from minimum mods, getting the best out of what is there and keeping it as 'streetable' and reliable as possible. I was actually looking for an Evo V, but when this popped up I knew I had to grab it as I wouldn't get another chance at one, especially this clean!

As there were only 212 of these red 'Special package' ones made, I intend to keep it fairly original and not do or add anything that cannot be simply undone or removed where ever possible. All original parts that have been removed are safely packed away in case they ever go back on the car.

The car came new optioned with Ralliart Intercooler Piping and Suction kit, battery relocation kit. Ralliart / Samco hoses, Ralliart rear Strut Brace, Ralliart stainless exhaust system, Ralliart front LSD, Ralliart Oil and Radiator filler caps, Ralliart Temp Volt Boost gauge set, and Ralliart Mud flaps.

Current power is 380hp at the wheels (approx 460 bhp) and 49kg/m at the wheels running 1.55 bar boost, tuned by Garage G-Force in Yokohama.
The Turbo is an RS 16G. The engine is all original and unopened with the only addition being TOMEI Camshafts.

Suspension is Ohlins. 
Tyres are currently ADVAN Neova AD08.
And a few parts from CUSCO, HKS, EXEDY, OMP, ENDLESS, DIXCEL, RALLIART etc.

It's a great car to drive, and so far has not given me any trouble at all :-)

現在の車は三菱 ランサーエボリューションVI トミ・マキネンエディション(Tommi.Makinen Edition)。212台しか作らなかった赤い’スペシャルパケージ’。大事にしています!
タービンは、純正のものであり、ブーストは現在1.5kg/cm2。
エンジンはTOMEIカムシャフト以外全てノーマルのままです。
現在、横浜のGarage GForceチューンで 377psと49kgm@4096rpmがあります。

サスはオーリンズ、タイヤはADVANネオバAD08、ブレーキはENDLESS, DIXCELとRALLIART.
あとはCUSCO,HKS,EXEDY,OMPなど。
