Oil cooler ducting and modification.

I was not happy with how close the new HKS oil cooler fittings were to the bumper, there was only about a 3mm gap... if the bumper ever got a light hit it could break a fitting, so I decided to try and modify the brackets so that there was a bit more space between them.

The best I could do with the HKS style brackets was move the outer end of the oil cooler back about 60mm which only gave me about 25mm more gap, but still better than it was and will do for now :-)
Eventually I will maybe make completely new brackets and or use banjo style fittings on the oil cooler core outlet and inlet. We'll see.

Next I modified the factory oil cooler duct so that air would be hitting as much of the new oil cooler as possible. I used some paper thin aluminium I had and it worked just fine. I just painted it black when done to match the plastic parts. I have a spare factory duct so didn't mind cutting this one a bit.
